Regular Folks United Sponsors British MEP Daniel Hannan's U.S. Tour

August 4, 2009 - Washington, DC - Regular Folks United sponsored Daniel Hannan, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) during his summer tour of the United States. Daniel Hannan is a writer and journalist, and has been Conservative MEP for South East England since 1999. He has written eight books on European policy, speaks French and Spanish and is author of "The Plan: Twelve Months to Renew Britain."

Mr. Hannan has recently risen to fame in the U.S. after his fiery speech addressing British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at the European Parliament ("The devalued prime minister of a devalued government"). That speech can be found here.
